Read To A Dog In-Person
Build reading confidence by reading aloud to Teddy Bear, a certified therapy dog, and his adult volunteer. Teddy Bear's calm, patient presence creates a relaxed, encouraging environment where beginning, struggling, and reluctant readers can practice their reading skills without pressure. Readers are welcome to bring a favorite book from home or choose one from the library's collection. Please check in at least two minutes before your scheduled time so every reader receives their full session. For children in kindergarten through sixth grade. Registration is required for a 15-minute time slot.
