Intro to Block Printing and Stamp Carving In-Person

Block printing is the earliest form of creating reproducible artworks. It originated in China in the 3^rd century and was used to print calendars, art, and various texts. In this class, students will hand carve their own stamp or “block” with a design of their choosing, print it on cards using ink pads, and will be able to take their custom stamps home with them. For ages 12 and up. Registration is required. Limit 15. This class is made possible by funding from the City of Elk River.
