Detour Minnesota: Beyond the North Shore In-Person
Join us on an adventure to explore the iron ranges, logging camps, back roads, and small towns that shaped the region's identity. Through photographs, historic research, and little known stories, photographer and author Jay Grammond reveals how iron mining, timber harvesting, indigenous presence, and early exploration left lasting marks on the land and its people. Part history, part road-trip, and part visual storytelling, this presentation encourages curiosity and a new appreciation for places just beyond the well-traveled shoreline.
