Adopt a Barnyard Book Buddy In-Person

Mini stuffed ponies are in need of a home! These ponies love to snuggle and listen to children read aloud. Children are invited to adopt a mini stuffed pony, listen in for a pony-themed story time, and decorate their buddy’s stable! Afterwards, children will work with their adults to schedule a time to read aloud to their pony at home. This program is designed to encourage children ages 4-7 to practice their reading skills at home, though older or younger children are welcome to attend if registered. Limit 18. Registration required. Parent supervision required. Sponsored by the Monticello Friends of the Library.
