Art Dolls In-Person

Cultural art dolls serve as powerful, artistic representations of identity, history, and community and are also so much fun to make! These dolls can be styled to represent you, to be posed and played with.  We will talk about how dolls play an important role in cultures around the world. Pipe cleaners, felt, wool, fabric flowers, wooden beads and other common craft supplies will be used to create posable figures. Everyone will be able to make at least one doll to take home.   For ages 5 and up.  Limit 15.  Registration required.  This program was made possible with Arts & Cultural Heritage Funds from Minnesota's Clean Water, Land, and Legacy Amendment.
