Going to Bartalina: Songs & Stories of Great Lakes Sailing In-Person
The Howard Lake Senior Group invites you to join COMPAS artist and songwriter Charlie Maguire for an unforgettable afternoon of music and storytelling inspired by life on the Great Lakes. Drawing from rare firsthand experiences aboard working vessels, Maguire shares authentic songs of shipwrecks, sailor life, and deep-water adventure. The program also features Gordon Lightfoot’s “The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald” and a preview of Maguire’s new Going to Bartalina album. For adults/teens.
