Birdwatching 101 and Birdwatching Walk In-Person

Discover how easy it is to get started or to get better at birdwatching! Join Amy Simso Dean to learn how to ID local birds, set up a bird feeding station, select birdwatching gear, and connect with the birding community. Participants will also hear about simple community science projects you can do that help support bird conservation. Then, join us outdoors where we will birdwatch and play bird-focused games and activities for both kids and adults. All equipment will be provided. For all ages. This program was made possible with Arts & Cultural Heritage Funds from Minnesota's Clean Water, Land, and Legacy Amendment.
