Clay Snowperson Sculpture In-Person

In this fun and festive class, students will learn basic hand building techniques while creating their own unique snowperson out of clay. They'll have the opportunity to add playful details like hats, scarves, mittens, and accessories for their snowperson to hold. Once the sculpture is built, students will decorate it with colorful underglazes. All clay pieces will be taken back to Rumriver Art Center to be kiln-fired and clear glazed. Finished artwork will be returned to the library for pickup within three weeks of the class. For ages ten and older. Limit 15. Registration required. This program was made possible with Arts & Cultural Heritage Funds from Minnesota's Clean Water, Land, and Legacy Amendment.
