Parent-Child: Frank Big Bear Face Drawing In-Person
Frank Big Bear is an Ojibwe artist from Minnesota known for his colorful, abstract abstract portraits filled with symbolism and energy. In this class, families will create expressive face drawings inspired by his vibrant style—portraits can be of themselves, someone they know, or a completely imagined person! Using Sharpies and watercolor pencils, students will explore color, pattern, and emotion while learning how to make their artwork come alive with personality and meaning. For ages 5+. Registration required. This class is made possible by the Rumriver Art Center through a CMBA-Central MN Arts Board grant.
