Parent-Child Clay Animal Class In-Person

In this fun and creative parent-child class, participants will be guided in making their favorite animal out of clay. Students will learn a variety of hand-building techniques, including pinch pots, to shape and sculpt a unique and playful animal. Once the clay piece is complete, colorful underglazes will be used to bring it to life. All pieces will be taken back to Rumriver Art Center for firing and returned to the library for pickup within three weeks. A perfect class for families to create and connect through art! For ages 5 and up with adult. Registration is required. Limit 12. This class is made possible by the Rumriver Art Center through a CMBA-Central MN Arts Board grant.
