Straw Bale Gardens In-Person
Interested in gardening? Joel Karsten is a best-selling author and he enjoys introducing people to the Straw Bale gardening method. A passion of Joel’s is introducing the amazing gardening method he has pioneered, where he has perfected the art of growing vegetables, herbs and flowers in decomposing bales of straw. He will teach tried and true techniques so that you can grow your own successful garden! This program was made possible with Arts & Cultural Heritage Funds from Minnesota’s Clean Water, Land, and Legacy Amendment.
