Mount Rainier Watercolor Pencil Drawing with Rum River Art Center In-Person

Ascending to 14,410 feet above sea level, Mount Rainier stands as an icon in the Washington landscape. The mountain is the most glaciated peak in the continuous USA. Subalpine wildflower meadows ring the icy volcano while ancient forest cloaks the mountain's lower slopes. Wildlife abounds in the park’s ecosystems. The wildflowers we will draw from Mount Rainier National Park are the Tiger Lily, Shooting Star, Arnica, and Columbine. For ages 8 to adult Limit 15. Registration required. This program was made possible with Arts & Cultural Heritage Funds from Minnesota's Clean Water, Land, and Legacy Amendment.
