Skillsville In-Person
Skillsville is a transmedia project for young learners designed to enhance their executive function skills and knowledge about diverse career options to prepare them for future careers. This innovative program combines the power of storytelling, interactive media, intergenerational learning, and equity to engage children ages 5–8 in building the critical skills they need to join—and lead—the 21st-century workforce. Based in research around children’s executive functioning skills (e.g., impulse control, emotion regulation, flexible thinking), this project reaches across multiple media platforms to provide diverse children and families –especially those from underserved communities–with high-quality, equitable, and fun resources.
