Art-Inspired Writing Workshop In-Person

Award-winning poet and writer, Laura Hansen, will introduce you to art-inspired writing, also known as ekphrasis. The workshop will offer participants ways to respond to art and encourage poem/story submissions to the Great River Arts Art-Words Exhibit. Visit the GRA Gallery during August, write in response to a favorite artwork and submit your writing to exhibit with the inspiration art. (Artists interested in submitting artwork should go to www.greatart.org). Register for workshop in person or via the GRRL Events Calendar. For teens and adults. Workshop limit 18.
