Sugar Bushing (Maple Syrup) and Seasonal Foods In-Person
Travis Zimmerman, Site Manager of the Mille Lacs Indian Museum and Trading Post, a Historic Site of the Minnesota Historical Society, will discuss foods of the American Indians. His presentation will focus on seasonal foods found in Minnesota and foods that originated in the Americas that became staples for world cuisines. This program was made possible with Arts & Cultural Heritage Funds from Minnesota's Clean Water, Land, and Legacy Amendment.
