Kumihimo Braiding

 This centuries old braiding technique was originally used to make cords to tie on the armor of Samurai warriors. Using a simple eight-sided loom and embroidery thread, participants will learn to make seven and eight stranded braids that can be used as friendship bracelets, bookmarks, and many other things. For all ages. Limit 20. Registration required. This program was made possible with Arts & Cultural Heritage Funds from Minnesota's Clean Water, Land, and Legacy Amendment.
