|The Viking Age: A mysterious age of Runes, Raids and Sagas|
Event Type: Presentation|
Age Group(s): Adults, Teens, School Aged Children
Start Time: 11:00 AM
End Time: 1:00 PM
The presenter, Mr. Arn Kind, will make the Viking Age come alive for us through his realistic and colorful portrayal of the people of this era. The story of the Vikings is as extensive as the people it studies. The seafaring Vikings were a group of people that came from the Scandinavian countries of Norway, Denmark, and Sweden. They made an enduring name for themselves in the 8th through the 11th centuries for being tactical warriors, excellent traders, and intrepid explorers. Mr. Kind brings and displays many artifacts for his audience to view and handle. In order to display and use these artifacts in his presentation, he makes sure that everything he brings in has been made safe. For school-age children to adults.
