Mozart, The Boy Genius! presented by Pages of Music

Fourth grade students at the Independence Elementary School will learn about one of the most famous composers of all time, Mozart. They will enjoy the re-enactment of a concert by the little boy Mozart, and learn about the "The Magic Flute". Area homeschool students are also invited to attended. Summer Reading Program Kick-Off

Sock Monkey Workshop by Jen Anfinson

In this FUN class, we will learn basic sewing techniques used to construct a sock monkey. An array of supplies make for a creative project where everyone goes home with a unique sock monkey creation. This two hour class is open to ages ten to adult. Kids under 16 will need an adult to assist them.

Pirate Adventures by Abrakadoodle

Dino-mite Dinosaurs by Abrakadoodle

ROAR! Stegosaurus, Tyrannosaurus Rex, and Triceratops are the inspiration for our dino-mite library field trip! You'll paint, cut and decorate your own standing dinosaur as you learn about land, water and flying dinosaurs, while exploring what they ate and how they lived.

Big Trucks Petting Zoo

Ever wanted to sit on a fire truck, a snow plow, a farm tractor? We'll provide a variety of Big Trucks for kids of all ages to explore. The "Petting Zoo" will be set up at the Independence Elementary School, across the street from the library. Visit the machines and then visit the library!
