Candace Simar will be offering a presentation about Scandinavian immigrants in early Minnesota. She will have an emphasis on the 1860s and the 1870s during the Civil War, Dakota Conflict and the grasshopper plagues. She reads from her historical novels, Abercrombie Trail, Pomme De Terre and Birdie. She is a must see.

Gator Alley and Company Puppet Show

The Best Face Painting Ever

Butterflies, animals, fairies and sports themes, just to name a few of the ideas that can be created on your face. Register for an opportunity to have a wonderful face painting. The paints that are used hypo-allergenic and are FDA approved. The paints are non-metallic and won't scratch the eyes or skin. There will be hundreds of designs to choose from.

Battle of the Books is a triva game for ages 13 and up where you and your friends answer questions from 7 special books chosen by the library staff.
