Start Time: All Day
In this four-week camp, participants will receive kits containing fun activities that fight the summer slide and address current events. Optional weekly virtual meetings will be a place for kids to work on projects, play games with a group, and connect with others in their communities.
Each week will have a theme with a new kit of activities, so be sure to pick up the kit each week. Kits can be picked up curbside at the St. Cloud Public Library while supplies last.
Week 1 will focus on self care and taking care of one’s body and mind during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Week 2 is nature week, with projects made to do in the great out-of-doors!
Week 3 will be filled with puzzles and brain-twisters and secret codes, sneakily working out the kiddos’ critical thinking muscles.
Week 4 will focus on community: what it means and how we can strengthen ours. The activities will tackle current issues in our world in a way that is accessible to kids, allowing the students to learn from each other and expand their mindset.
Register here to participate in the virtual sessions. Please be sure to include an email address in order to receive information about how to access the virtual meetings.
