RF Award-winning Minnesota Author Discusses Elements of Fiction

 Connie Claire (Peterson) Szarke, an award-winning Minnesota author, will the elements of fiction and her writing career. She writes literary/historical fiction, but draws much of her inspiration from the natural world. A former high school French teacher, her link with European culture, history, and the arts also provide additional material for her novels and short stories, resulting in a trilogy:"Lady in the Moon, A Novel in Stories," "Delicate Armor," and "A Stone for Amer." Her latest novel, "Stone Wall and Other Stories" set in Ireland, Aran Islands, Sicily, France, Cape Cod, and Aspen will be available in early 2020. Sponsored by Rockford Friends of the Library.

This confidentiality extends to information sought or borrowed, database search records, Internet sites, reference interviews, circulation records, registration records (except name), and all other personally identifiable uses of library materials, facilties or services. A library may release reserved materials to a family member or other person who resides with a library patron and who is picking up the material on behalf of the patron. A patron may request that reserved materials be released only to the patron.
