New to genealogy? Always wanted to trace your roots but didnt know how to get started? If so, come to our Genealogy Starter Class on Thursday, January 30 at 6:30 p.m. We will learn ways you can begin tracing your family tree with tools available through the library and on the Internet. Topics will include:Library: Great River Regional Library - Saint Cloud Map
Using GRRL databases like HeritageQuest, as well as free websites
Census information, vital and military records
Organizing your information
Please note that this is a beginner level program little to no experience is expected.

This confidentiality extends to information sought or borrowed, database search records, Internet sites, reference interviews, circulation records, registration records (except name), and all other personally identifiable uses of library materials, facilties or services. A library may release reserved materials to a family member or other person who resides with a library patron and who is picking up the material on behalf of the patron. A patron may request that reserved materials be released only to the patron.
