Part history lesson, part craft class, our second historical quilting program will feature information about quilting and the Dust Bowl during the Great Depression on the Great Plains. Learn about the fabrics and patterns that were popular in the "Dirty Thirties." Hand sew a fabric yo-yo or two during the program to get started on your own 1930s reproduction quilt project. A pattern, instructions, needle, and materials for the yo-yo will be provided. Bring a sharp fabric scissors. Ages 14-adult. Limit 12.
