Recycle, reuse, and learn a new skill. Local artist Amy P. will instruct participants on the art of simple basket weaving using newspaper. Amy has created baskets using a variety of materials. In this two-part workshop she will show you how to prepare your newspaper materials and teach you the weaving techniques to make a basket of your own. Each participant will need an awl or a long, skinny, flat-tipped screw driver, and a wire cutter (not the pliers kind). Limit 15.
