Meet an American Civil War Soldier

 Join us for a fascinating look at the American Civil War and what it was like to be a soldier during this time period. Presenter Arn Kind is a teacher at Franklin Elementary School in Mankato, and has taught for 30+ years. He is a member of the First Minnesota Volunteer Infantry Regiment, a reenactment group based out of Fort Snelling. This group is known for its authenticity and has appeared in many documentaries and films, including 'Dances With Wolves' and 'The Blue and the Gray.' All presentation times are open to the public and will be held in the Upsala Area School auditorium. Times are (approximately) 10-11 a.m., 12:30-1:30 p.m., 2-3 p.m. and an evening presentation from 7 - 8 p.m.
