  The Last Keeper at Split Rock, Mike Roberts, has written a book by the same name. He will tell stories of his experience in the U.S. Coast Guard Service on the North Shore of Lake Superior including search and rescue at the Duluth Lifeboat station and the North Superior Lifeboat station in Grand Marais. He talks about his time at Split Rock and includes the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald on Lake Superior and the wreck of the Daniel J.Morrell on Lake Huron. Mike is an enthusiastic speaker who enjoys his subject and knows it well.
