A reading and discussion program: Join us for a series of reading and discussion programs based on the books "March" by Geraldine Brooks, "Crossroads of Freedom: Antietam" by James McPherson and "America's War: Talking About the Civil War and Emancipation on Their 150 Anniversaries", edited by Edward L. Ayers. Participants can check out copies of the books at their local Great River Regional Library branch in advance to prepare them to participate in the conversation. A library may release reserved materials to a family member or other person who resides with a library patron and who is picking up the material on behalf of the patron. A patron may request that reserved materials be released only to the patron.
