Description:
 The Minneapolis Guitar Quartet offers first-rate repertoire ranging from Renaissance and Baroque to Spanish, Latin American, and Romantic, to highly imaginative existing and commissioned contemporary works. Besides
playing guitars, they will talk about the history and meaning of the music they play and include interesting demonstrations about how they play their guitars. They start with a classical repertoire that covers more than 400 years, and then bring in contemporary works influenced by all different kinds of jazz, rock and folk music.
