A tornado of fire 4 ½ miles high devoured Hinckley and several other small towns on Sept. 1, 1894. Visit the area including the Hinckley Fire Museum (a small portion of this museum is not handicapped accessible) and the cemetery, traveling on a coach bus. The bus leaves Upsala Area School parking lot at 8 a.m. arriving at Hinckley at approximately 10:00 a.m. Registrants must ride the bus to participate in this trip. We will choose a place to eat lunch when we get there; there are a variety of options. You may also bring a sack lunch and eat on the bus. We will depart Hinckley at approximately 2:30 p.m. arriving at Upsala about 4:30 p.m. Children under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
